The owners were super friendly and welcoming ! They really are a lovely couple. The rooms have been decorated with a lot of thought and effort, each one with the theme of a different country. Definitely unique and nothing like we have seen before, we really appreciate all the little thoughtful details. The breakfast was great too.

The breakfast is simple easy and awesome. The local Kenya tea was great. Also the pancake from the host plus egg and sausages.

The fact that my room felt like home and not a hotel room!!! The choice of colors and paintings on the walls; the British touch on the finishings and decorative items; the mattress....ooo the scientically proven mattress is all the night therapy I needed, and that is offcourse after the amazing hot shower from the 'island kind' shower head; my bedding also smelt really fresh; the iron box (yes I know; if you are on a work trip, the little things matter); the world cities themed rooms had a sweet touch to it because of the wallpapers ( I spent my time at the city of Zurich and London was right next to me :-) :-); Decorative chicken in Naliaka's garden (I repeat, decorative:-); don't be tempted to ask for a meal out of them, they are so beautiful!!); the couple knew Bungoma well and so when we needed some recommendations for some stuff, we were in good hands; on my last evening in Sasana, we sat around with the couple and some friends and had a good ol storytime over good music and food, it was amazing.I woke up every morning to cock crows and birds chirping(way better than the noisy towns); Naliaka also made us feel so at home with how she handled our breakfast and needs; so tasty and motherly...I loved my stay.
