The accommodation is beautifully situated by the lake...the garden is an oasis in the city. However, the garden could be improved; a few more seating options would be nice. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The room was very reasonably priced. Don't expect too much in terms of comfort; it's very basic.

Good host, with good English and communication. He arranged a tuktuk for us that came perfectly on time. Nice breakfast on the scenic lakeside terrace. Stylishly decorated rooms.

We liked the staff who were welcoming and helpful. we liked the location as it is close to the small lake for a quiet time. We like the outdoor restaurant which serves good food at a good price.

It is a little Paradise in front of the lake and behind the Palace of Bundi and the fort. For me it was exceptional and it felt like my 2nd home. All where so friendly and I was feeling like being in the 19th century. Out of my room from the bed I could see the lake and I just loved the wonderful haveli and having breakfast in front of the lake. A little daydream....Thanks fora ll and your wonderful friendlyness!!!

Location was good. We acknowledge this was a budget holiday but one shouldn't be expected to stay somewhere so GRIM.

Beautiful guesthouse overlooking the lake, right beneath the fort. The staff were lovely and food was great. This was the nicest place we’ve stayed in India.

“Nice budget accommodation”

These old style tourist guest houses are always a nice place for budget travelers to stay. Rustic but adequate rooms with a lovely sitting area in the window. Friendly staff and a really lovely garden restaurant right by the lake. Very good WiFi as well.

“Fantastic lakeside / central location, with chilled staff”

Friendly, helpful relaxed staff. They let me drop my bag at 6am and come back at 10am to check in. Lovely shady garden location on the lake. With the breeze from my Lakeview double, the room was a lovely temperature with the fan on and i didn’t miss AC (early March). It’s only a short walk to the palace and touristy spots, so I would definitely recommend people to stay here.

Friendly staff and beeeeeaaautiful garden by the lake. My room was very basic but because It was the cheapest, other guests were very happy with their room. Good location!

it was a lovely traditional haveli that is still a family home. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and it gets cool air from the lake. I was very comfortable and I can highly recommend a stay there.

Haveli Uma Megh is beautiful and I would certainly recommend it to female solo travelers. It is a very safe place. The staff are very kind and welcoming. The food is super good, too. It's within walking distance of the busy areas and the quieter lake walk, too. Altogether, a lovely experience.

My favourite stay in India! Just felt like I was home. Bed was huge and comfy. Had the best view of the lake with the perfect seating area Quiet and peaceful, highly recommend this place will definitely come back. Thank you for the best memory ❤️
