Amazing location in the centre of the old city and very unique experience staying under the fort. Very friendly staff and great value for money

probably the quietest place in India, tired of the noise, we stayed here for 2 weeks. Raj and Nima are very friendly, it is clear that it is important for them that the guest is satisfied. And when they found out that it was my birthday, they gave flowers to my wife and me and blessed us. They also launched fireworks. It was a pleasure. breakfast is included in the price, very tasty food, we often had lunch and dinner with them, not spicy. The rooms are simple but clean. and most importantly, it's quiet. a large cozy courtyard under the wall of the fort. very authentic. this is the best place in Bundi.

We loved our stay at Haveli Elephant Stable and extended it by a couple more days. Raj and his family were wonderful hosts and cooked the most delicious meals. Breakfasts were great, and we ate dinner there every night too - the Thali's are simply incredible. One of the highlights was the fire lit each evening, which made the cold winter nights feel really special. The location is perfect, just below the palace in the heart of Bundi. The dining/communal area is outdoors, so it can get cold in winter, but this wasn’t an issue for us and the nightly fire made it very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Raj, Nima and the whole family are the most amazing people ♡ Here I spent great time with them and I had the best thali in months of traveling India. The location is very peculiar, right next to the old palace, it was a real elephant stable. It’s so cool to spend at least a night here. Location is perfect for visiting the city and the rooms are not on the main street, so it means good sleep. Good clean, mattress a bit hard (but it’s local habit haha). Definitely recommended, also for solo women traveling.

Very friendly people, great food!

This property is at the budget end of the market, so set expectations for that level. Having said that, so much about it is good to great. It's attached to the Garh Palace walls, and the best bits of town are easily within walking distance. Raj and his family are warm, hospitable, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner are good. I booked for two nights and stayed for three, and I'd go again, and recommend it to others.

Raj and Neema were the most friendly hosts I think I've ever met, we only stayed for 1 night but they made sure we had the best experience and saw plenty of Bundi

it's one of the few places, nowadays,where you can really feel in india. room,open space and very good homemade food,thanks Neema,and little goodbye ceremony,thanks Raj. right at the footh of the fort...

The hosts are exceptional! They are warm and welcoming and treated me like family.

Raj and Neema where such great hosts, going out od their way to make my stay more enjoyable. The tours they offered were just enjoyable experiences, and with no pressure. The location is amazing right next to the Palace gates.

“Historic and unusual accommodation, in perfect location”

This is amazing value for money and the hosts Raj and Neema are delightful. This might not be to everyone's taste BUT if you want a bargain which includes breakfast, accommodation that is historic and interesting, and hosts that look after you then this is one of the best places we stayed whilst in India. Please note if you do not want an authentic Indian style accomodation then this isn't for you, but if you want to experience great hospitality then give this a go. Please be aware that this backs on the fort and you can sometimes smell the bats outside in the courtyard. We enjoyed watching them fly out at night

“Unique homely guesthouse”

We loved our stay at Haveli Elephant stables. Raj and his family were so welcoming and really made us feel at home. We loved the fact that the accommodation was part of the old palace. It is a unique guesthouse and amazing value for money. The food was absolutely delicious and Neema's special Thali is a must! We also really enjoyed our tour of the palace with Neema and would definitely recommend doing it.
