The property was at a perfect location, a bit outside of a city with nice nature around it but if your mobile it was easy to get to the close city. The room was very clean and you felt comfortable. Around you there sometimes are animals, which are really cute. The best part were the very friendly hosts. They spoke good English and were very helpful and open. We had a small car accident and they immediately us and even asked their neighbors to assist.

I stayed at Mesari cottage for two days and absolutely loved it. This cottage offers a magical escape into nature's embrace. The hosts Eka and Putu was warm and welcoming me like family and even taking me to the family temple. Truly a special experience.

“wholesome, cute and welcoming”

the cottage was so dreamy. it felt like a dream when looking out of the little window. i have sat on the little table all the evening which was so wholesome and the host and hostess were so warm and welcoming. the stay was perfect. the only thing was the bugs in the bathroom, but that was something that they could not do much about. i loved it.

Absolutely beautifull garden and homestay. The owners are way too kind. The food is out of this world!

There was a very friendly cat that slept together with me :) And the owner was friendly and cooked some nice food! Location is quiet, peaceful and away from all the hustle, but I recommend having some form of transportation arranged or renting a scooter for getting around.

We stayed at Mesari cottages for two weeks and booked 3 rooms. It's family owned accommodation, so they looked after us every day. What we really enjoyed is the local family atmosphere, from breakfast to cleaning, driving to the beautiful places around Buleleng and mount batur. We got to know everyone in the family and became friends. What a lovely stay and lovely people. A memorable experience. This area is very beautiful and the beach resort in Lovina was out beach escape. Many waterfalls and interesting places to visit. Thank you Bude, Eka and family. We will go back. 🙏 Hi

stayed in the cottage room very nice experience, near by have hill to trek on and have nice traffic free road to walk or ride bike, all locals there very friendly everyone greets you with an hello definitely coming back next time for longer stay

Breakfast offerings were varied, a la carte. Water refills are available to buy. There is a fantastic swimming pool within 2km of the accomodation with cheap local food and beautiful views. Also a waterfall further up the road by motorbike. The villagers are friendly if you start with a smile and a greeting.

I booked the bungalow which had lots of windows which opened to sounds of running water and birds! The accommodation is the only option for meals, but prices were very fair and the meals were excellent. The hosts were very helpful and generous. The garden was absolutely beautiful with several large water ponds and views to the rice fields and adjacent forest.

Amazing food and all around perfect service. Buderiasa helped us with all our issues/questions. The cottage is located in beautiful nature and the surroundings with the garden and the rice fields are unreal! (even better than on the pictures in our opinion). You should be aware, that it‘s a 20 minute drive to the next bigger village.

how to describe?! we spent 3 memorable nights at mesari cottage! The place is splendid, very clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. Perfect for staying and discovering the real Bali. I wanted to thank the hosts who welcomed us perfectly and gave us the best advice on activities and places to do in the surrounding area. For the record: I forgot two t-shirts there, they did everything to bring them back to me! Thanks again to them, I won't forget.
