“Very enjoyable”
Very relaxing and the pool was lovely. It is difficult to find places that are not full of tourists in August; this, and the surrounding area, were wonderful for a stress-free break. Breakfast very good.

Beyond expectations, absolutely amazing, tastefully renovated. The Superior room is a true opportunity to travel in time however all you need is there. Excellent Wi-Fi, perfect fridge, air conditioning, fan , great bed and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. Fantastic garden with XL size Chess Game ♟️ and an excellent swimming pool. Luis and his wife are really lovely people, friendly and helpful .

“Perfect stopover”
We have been staying here for a few years running now as it is a perfect stop over from Santander down to south Spain. Always welcomed with our little dog they now have the addition of a lovely swimming pool and lounger area with umbrellas. The rooms are very spacious with all you need including fridge, a/c and a jacuzzi bath overlooking the farmland behind the property. Lovely walking on your doorstep to give the dog a leg stretch after being in the car so long! You can even purchase local wine from here to enjoy.

“Incredibly special experience”
A very big hug and thank you to all the wonderful staff at this incredibly unique establishment. Luis and the wonderful reception staff went out of their way to make us feel so welcome and as we were lucky enough to have the whole castle to ourselves for most of our stay, it was an incredible experience for all of us. “A tranquil oasis and a piece of history.”
A jewel of a find. The castle has been refurbished over a 10year period with love and care. The owners are rightly proud of what they have achieved and guests will be wowed by its splendour. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious; we had a balcony that looked over arable land and the hills. The swimming pool area has been completed lately and is perfect t for a swim and chill out. We would go back in a heartbeat. The village facilities are a little limited, but for a short stay…perfect. Dogs were welcomed also. Breakfast was lovely. And always service with a smile.
