“Like a homestay”

I arrived early but my room is prepared already which helps a lot with my early tiring train. Umarxon is like a grandpa greeting me when I arrived. My room is upstairs through a narrow and steep stair. The room is clean and spacious. Comfortable for a stay. Umarxon and his family lives in the same house and offered a lot of help to me. He tried communicating with translate app even though we have a bit of language barrier. There’s a little cat that sleeps in front of my room door. Toilet and bathroom are shared, but very clean. Location is just a short 3min walk to the main sites.

The owner was very friendly and showed incredible hospitality. He gave us advice on what to visit. The room was simple but clean. The breakfast normally included eggs, sausage, bread, some kind of pastry and vegetables. There was tea and instant coffee as well.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again. The best part of the accommodation was definitely the friendly and helpful staff. The personal interaction and hospitality made our stay unforgettable.

Umarxon was a lovely host and gave us a warm welcome to the city and his home. He was always on hand to assist and give us pratical advice. We enjoyed the location in a quiet alleyway very near the old town and the pleasant courtyard.

Umarxon was such an amazing host, very welcoming. We also had the best breakfast on our whole trip in Uzbekistan. Close to the city center. I highly recommend it.

We were accepted as part of the family. The owner was very trustworthy and humorous and despite his lack of English made great efforts to communicate. We were allowed to use the same kitchen as the family which as one of us had a complicated diet was a godsend. The bathroom and toilet was spotless and also the shower room was very warm which for the time of year was very welcome. The shower was also very powerful. As a hostel you couldn't really do better

The breakfast was excellent, especially the rose petal jam. The owner was very friendly and tried to help as much as possible. Also the location was excellent, very close to the street leading into Lyab-i Havuz Square.

Everything was absolutely amazing. I would recommend to everyone visiting Ouzbekistan to visit Umarxon
