The room was spacious cosy, and the mattress wasn’t too firm which was welcome given the usual hard style of Uzbek beds! On our arrival, the accomodation had bottled water and tea available in our rooms - how lovely. The breakfast was hearty and tasty, with a selection of quiche, rice pudding, fruits, cheese and meats. The hosts were also kind and welcoming. The property was a nice 10min walk from the centre of the old town and madrassas. I would definitely stay again.

Very helpful and hospitable host willing to accommodate our requests regarding early check-in and breakfast "to go". Walking distance to main attractions, small shops open till late just around the corner. The hotel has a nice rooftop terrace. Cosy rooms.

We went to three places in Uzbekistan: Tashken, Samarkad and Bukhara. This this was the best hotel/guest house we stayed in. For the price that we paid it was more than we could ask for: clean, fresh, big rooms with high ceiling. It is located a few minutes away from the old city and everyday we took a very nice and authentic walk in local streetls which we enjoyed very much. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a terrace on the top floor with three spacious patios and a great view of the old city!

“The place is really nice and new, but there are a few things that could make it even better”

The location is excellent—right in the old city center, with all major attractions within walking distance. The breakfast is very good: delicious and filling. The room itself is new and stylish, but it’s smaller than advertised — around 16 square meters instead of 20. On the plus side, the shower is great, with reliably hot water. A minor issue for us was the noise, as our room was close to the reception and people kept coming and going. The wi-fi connection is not reliable. The room also felt a bit stuffy since the window faced a wall. Installing an air conditioner would probably solve this.

We had an isssue with the shower that was not working correctly and we complained. We tried to leave a day earlier because of this but the manager snapped, was super arrogant, told us that we were lying about the shower and that we had to pay for that night even if we left. I asked very calmly if he preferred a client to stay unhappy and did a bad review and he said he didn’t care about our reviews. In the end he realized we were right and gave us another room. But we were so upset about the behavior that we only came back at night and we left as soon as we could without even having breakfast. Ultimately the hotel is OK but we’ve seen better for the same prices in better locations. So no advantage in staying here with a rude manager.
