An oasis in the city! Strong internet, immaculately clean, great location in walking distance to cafes, restaurants & bars, aircon, amazing hot & powerful shower (the best of our trip), friendly team, very nice breakfast, safe & secure. All in all a lovely stay & vibe, we would gladly have stayed much longer.

Nice open garden, felt like a sanctuary in the middle of busy Bujumbura. Room had an air con, great breakfast and stable wifi.

Modern, small hotel with well designed rooms. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly to accommodate our needs. Even helped to arrange a money changer.

Very clean and good breakfast. It is a small hotel and rather quiet in the centre of Bujumbura. Clean toilet and nice towels. Flexible check in/out.

Have a stay there... Liked · Excellent place for a tour of Kigali. Located in the business center, there is everything within a mile radius. The view of the city is splendid and the suites are well spaced. Staff very welcoming and professional, room service impeccable. Highly appreciate to all staff mainly phionah,cesard and valens are incomparable. Anyway, I would stay there again... Disliked · Everything was spot on, better than I expected. 2000 Hotel is definitely a place to stay.

The best shower on our Africa trip. Lots of hot water and good pressure. Everything just works (which is rare in these parts of Africa). Some English is spoken, even by the staff. Friendly manager/owner.

The design is lovely. The shower is hot and has great pressure. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was generous.

“A most enjoyable stay.”

A really enjoyable stay. It’s only a small place, but that made it very homely. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I had a great fish dish for dinner. The host , Val, is most welcoming and I had a great evening siting at the bar, although I wish my French was better. It’s located reasonably centrally, about 15min walk to the centre.
