A beautiful historic hotel with all you needed right in the heart of an authentic spainish town. Great communication with the hotel when we arrived Cesar was very helpful.

It was fabulous, just wish we could have stayed a few nights more. It was peaceful, spotlessly clean, comfortable. The bed’s mattress was ever so comfortable. José met us. Which was very kind when we had parked up. Communication from the time of booking to our arrival was informative and prompt, couldn’t have been better. He recommended where to it and we had a very good meal that evening. A small village/town steeped in history, lots of places to eat/drink and the people very warm. Parking literally round the corner from the hotel was perfect and safe. We will definitely be back and will book again. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect stop off, lovely friendly town, just 5 minutes off the main route before/after Madrid. Gorgeous little boutique hotel set within the castle walls, beams, stone walls, full of character & charm, amazing. Parking right outside, beautifully appointed rooms & lovely bathroom, very traditional yet modern, cosy with underfloor heating & such a comfortable bed. Cesar was so friendly & helpful on checking in, with info & showing us to the room. Compact town centre with lots of bars restaurants, & surprising number of shops. Amazing setting, the castle beside the river, all a short walk. Highly recommended.

Perfect location for a overnight stopover breaking our journey South - very easy to find especially with the excellent information provided by the hotel (Aida) who kept in touch & provided clear directions & information re arrival/parking. Parking was plentiful in a free off road area only 3mins walk from hotel. Met by Aida who was welcoming & very helpful & nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is central to the town with all amenities easily walkable. Our room was immaculately clean & the decor was very thoughtful & in keeping with the property. Lovely little touches throughout- complimentary coffee/cake (pod machine), toiletries, fridge (with water). Bathroom was fabulous 👏 & the bed was so comfy with great pillows!!! A/C & WiFi.

Wonderful hotel with character. Very comfortable and clean beautifully furnished in keeping with setting. Parking very close by. We were sent directions to car park and also met by our host. Fabulous service.

Great place. Exceptionally restored, keeping the essence of 15th century walls with all modern comfort. The host was kind and attentive, making everything easy for us. Ideal place to visit small Buitrago and well communicated to explore Madrid’s mountains

Amazing experience to stay in an authentic medieval castle built in 14 century. Right in the middle of beautiful village plenty of restaurants and cafes . The room was perfect ! The bed is cosy, everything is with the touch of good taste .
