“Very special”
This place was fantastic! We came from a long day walk, the staff was lovely, we were shown to our room which was large and warm, our table was booked, food was delicious, we loved the traditional atmosphere and couldn’t believe how close it was to the hiking route. A gem in the middle of black forest,ade our trip special.

“Excellent value for money, and a great place for hiking.”
Friendly and helpful staff. Quite large and comfortable room. I was the only guest for the night, but they still served me an excellent breakfast. This is a great place for hiking.

“A great place to stay”
Great place to stay when walking the Westweg. Great staff, food, drink and location. Comfy room with a great shower. Lovely sunset after dinner.

Good location, nice and quiet. A lovely quaint style of building. Food menu was a little restrictive, but it was good quality food. Not expensive.

Perfect location whether you're walking the Rheinsteig, driving, taking the bus, or cycling. Friendly staff, very large, clean rooms, great on-site bar and restaurant. There is also an electric car charger nearby. Really wonderful views. Right between two ski slopes too, so there appears to be plenty to do in the winter. Best Currywurst in Baden-Württemberg!
