Tango de Mayo Hotel is located in the heart of the well-known Mayo Avenue, only 300 metres from 9 de Julio Avenue and 800 metres from The Obelisk of Buenos Aires. Set in a refurbished historical building from 1910s, the property features Art Nouveau inspirations characterized by large glass surfaces, symmetrical styles and Parisian metal pilasters. “My stay was excellent and Buenos Aires appears to be a very safe city to visit nowadays.”
The hotel is well run and exceptional value for money. Location was excellent and the underground station for the A-Line metro is only 50 metres away. The Metro system can now be accessed using international credit cards making it simpler to use.

Great location, great value for money! It's an old building, so needs some upkeeping but in general it was fine! I had a very spacious room, which was perfect.

The hotel had a lovely old world charm about it. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel in a great location. The breakfast was good and the hotel door was always locked which is great.
