Yann was able to recommend what we did in the town, We ate locally in a restaurant with charm and good value. The property has character and old world feel in keeping with its age. We would use this as a base for BA in the future. It is walking to the centre for Tango, eats and the museums.

I had a wonderful stay at La Querencia. Yann was really friendly and welcoming, and my room was spacious, cool (even in the Buenos Aires heat!), and very comfortable.

Very comfy accomdation within San Telmo, 15 minute walk from San Telmo Market and 10 minute Taxi to La Boca. Yann the host was great and very communative throughout our stay . Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean with a hot and good pressure shower.

Attention to detail and personal service from Yann make this a perfect hideout in BA on walking distance from San Telmo center

La Querencia is a hidden gem near the charming Buenos Aires neighbourhood of San Telmo. The location is ideal for exploring this vibrant city. I especially loved having breakfasts in BA's cafes full of charm and history as well as dancing at a milonga nearby. Yan was a fantastic host who made sure my stay was extremely comfortable and problem free. Next time when I am in Buenos Aires, I am definitely staying at the same address.

“An oasis in the heart of Buenos Aires”

This place is an absolute gem. The vibe is like somewhere you might find in Morocco or southern Spain, with a few rooms that open out onto a central courtyard, all painted in a vibrant shade of yellow. The rooms have high ceilings and feel more spacious than they look in the photos, and the cleaning staff are pretty fastidious. The owner, Yann, is a terrific host – eager to chat when he serves breakfast in the morning, and ready to help with arranging transport and the like. The surrounding neighbourhood seemed a bit boring at first, but San Telmo is within easy striking distance and there's a subway station a couple of blocks away.

Yann was such a great host. Very accomodating to a couple of Australians who had a fairly limited Spanish vocabulary.
