“A place to sleep”
It is situated convenient. The elevator worked (lived on 6th floor). The beds were comfortable (medium). Doors were locked to the street. It is old (1904, I think) and some of the vibe is still there. Staff very friendly and helpfull. At the pricepoint: value for money.

“Muy buena”
The young people at the hotel reception offer customers 5-star hotel service. They are, of course, very professional, but beyond that, they are personally involved in resolving doubts, answering questions and solving problems immediately. Of all the hotels I have stayed in on my long trip through America, this hotel has been, without question, the one where I have received the best reception. Best regards

I was shocked that the other Americans staying next door to me were robbed and had their computers and other valuables stolen from their room while they were out. Hotel staff didn’t seem to care. Very troubling having to carry all my belongings with me all day!!
