“AVOID THIS PLACE! Dishonest host – terrible experience and MISSING BELONGIGS!!!”

Our experience was extremely disappointing. We were moved at the very last minute to a completely different apartment, in another area of Buenos Aires, far from Palermo where we had originally booked. The host said the original building had no electricity, but the new apartment was in terrible condition — dirty, full of dust and hair, with mold in the shower, damaged walls, and old blankets covered in lint. Everything felt neglected and poorly maintained. Since the city was full due to several events that weekend, we had no other choice but to stay there for the night. The next day, we had to move again, wasting a lot of time and money on taxis to get from one place to another. Unfortunately, the second apartment was even worse, so we decided to leave and stay somewhere else. To make matters worse, I accidentally left my leather jacket in the apartment. I contacted the host several times asking them to return it, and they promised to bring it to my new hotel — but they never showed up. I waited for hours, and they kept making excuses until the very end. It felt like a total lack of respect and responsibility. Overall, a terrible experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this property or host to anyone.

Great location (excellent cafe, Rita, a couple doors down). The bed was comfortable, simple but functional and host was available even when we had trouble getting in for a 1am arrival.

Our host, Juan was very responsive, attentive, accommodating, and helpful. Location was convenient and we felt safe.
