The place is amazing — exactly as described and just like in the pictures. You have access to a private area on the beach and a stunning view. We were warmly welcomed by Jebs, who was also kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Location is just right on the beach, Jaime, the old fisherman from San Andres, who takes care of this place is very friendly, also speak good English so you can have nice conversation about history, local life, etc...

You have a private beach! And your own simple house by the sea! Some people pass by during the day but you are on your own there watching the ocean at sunrise sunset and by the moonlight Anytime really. You can bath and swim there and have breakfast or dinner on your own beach . There are shops not far and facilities to prepare food at the house (well equipped) As it so close to the sea you have permanent breeze that makes it unnecessary to use AC El Senor Jaime is available if you need any advice or booking a boat tour Easy to move around by collectivo to the centre or other parts of the islands We loved our stay

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Bella Marcela on our recent trip to San Andres. Our first few days on San Andres we stayed downtown but we were very happy to retreat to the quiet area of Rocky Cay and to Bella Marcela. We were warmly welcomed by Marcela, Jaime & Emanuel to their impeccable, spacious, & charming accommodation on the beach. With ocean sunrises and sunsets just outside the door, Bella Marcela is a tranquil getaway with easy access to the city centre by bus or taxi and a decent selection of friendly restaurants nearby. From start to finish we loved our stay at Bella Marcela. Thank you Marcela & Jaime – we look forward to returning one day! We miss our mornings and evenings in the hammocks on the beach!

Very nice beach house and Jaime/Jimmy is totally amazing and so generous with whatever you need. Please ask him to introduce you to the nearby restaurant of Collin and his mom - truly great!

Apartment in San Luis, with a private beach just few metres in front of the Caribbean Sea. The location is absolutely amazing and unique and only this worths the stay, you can have breakfast on the private little beach or relax on the hammoks, only few step from the sea. San Luis, where you can find restaurants for lunch or little shops, can be easily reached walking. In addition, Jaime, the house keeper, is always available, nice and kind, he can recommend beaches, tours, restaurantes, scooter rental and more, thanks to his native origin and knowledge of the island. We left a piece of heart there and we hope to come back soon!

“Don’t look further! This is the place to stay in San Andres!”

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Great unique location, Right on the beach. Excellent view. Very quiet because it is some 40 meters off the main road ( private internal street leading to the little house). Public buses stop right in front, if you come by taxi ask to bring you to Rocky Key (as they don’t know the hostel). Marcela, the host is lovely and very hospitable. We had good communication with her before arriving- she gave us all details. Responding immediately. Excellent attention of Jimmy (Jaime) who lives next door. He makes you feel at home! We had many interesting exchanges and discussions with him as he is originally from the island. Has a lot of knowledge about the history and gives insider tips about all kind of topics including possible excursions. One can do an excursion with Jimmies nephew for fishing or just boat tour (good price in comparison to commercial tour operators and excellent service of Louis including eating together the fish we caught) Jimmy offered us snorkelling gear and protection for cellphones. Kayaks can be rented. We could use the hammocks and the beach chairs for free. He is also helping in renting bicycles. Shop with big variety of products very close. The wifi works well. Moscitieras in all doors and windows. Kitchen well equipped. Good comfortable beds and clean linen. Free toiletries and towels ( including beach towels) provided. Marcela offers cleaning every day but for us it wasn’t necessary.We loved absolutely everything and will be back. 100% recommend! The best place in Colombia we have seen so far.
