The vue and authentic feel of the house was unmatched ! We got to meet Vanessa’s father and locals who are so kind and sympathic. There are a few restaurants around which is nice.

The view from the property was lovely, the star gazing was amazing and the facilities in the property were very good. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.

It's a wonderful place! If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, you are definitely here! silence and a bit of mysticism. a unique village among the rocks. Well, the road to it is very unusual! Vanessa is a hospitable hostess. We really enjoyed it!

The apartment had everything you need for living except a dishwasher. Everything was tidy and clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the fresh flowers everywhere, even the bathroom was decorated with fresh flowers. It is clear that the owners put a piece of their soul into this business. We would like to thank them separately for the products in the refrigerator. After all, we checked in a little late and did not have time to buy products, and there are only cafes in the village that close quickly. There is parking for the car. My advice is if you rent a car, rent a small one because the roads are quite narrow. Although Masca with its magnificent views is a very popular tourist destination, the house is located in a fairly secluded location. So I can really recommend this accommodation.

The location is extraordinary overlooking the Masca gorge

This is the best place I have seen. The villa overlooks the Masca village and the gorge. Clean, very nice . The owner was very attentive and always in touch. We had a welcoming gift (wine, fruits) The apartment is nice. There is everything for living and cooking. And everything is done with a soul. Safe. The view from the terrace is impossible to describe. I hope to come back again. Parking is available.

The view and the place were amazing, very comfortable, clean and cozy. The owner and neighbours were friendly and helpful. There are tourists every day in Masca, but noone bothered us. We even met there Ukrainians, it was a pleasure for us 🇺🇦 We enjoyed our stay and wish to come again 😊

Fabulous location, with good walks on hand.

The view is no doubt to die for. Beds were very comfortable, the quality of sleep was good as the bedrooms are 100% dark at night. It was cold at nights so we used the provided heater. The sun-beds on the terrace are lovely to lie on in the daytime when it gets warm. If you do not want to cook there are couple of breakfast/lunch places 10 min walk away with very basic food though. I expected the drive to be challenging and the host sent us pictures beforehand so it went ok although last 200-300 meters are interesting :) The reserved parking spot is the hole in the rock, brace yourself.

This is a place to go! Amazing view. Good facilities and very clean. Vanessa was our host and friend on phone and helped us a lot. her father went with his car to pick our luggage from nearby parking lot.

No words can describe the views from the terrace, we enjoyed a different face of the Masca gorge almost every day - not once we turned on the telly during the week we spent here. The house is a traditional Canarian home finished to a great quality, equipped with everything you need for a holiday and it features solid wooden furniture that doesn’t have that cheap feeling about it you often come across in holiday homes. The bed in the double room is very comfortable and we slept very well (probably not least because of the silence and the almost complete darkness the room offers). Vanessa was a most amazing host, friendly and helpful (like the locals generally). Although we arrived two hours later than planned, and thus after 10pm, she and her family were waiting for us and we were charged no extra for late check-in (despite the expressed house rules). Access to hike the amazing Masca ravine is limited, it can only be done in weekends and bank holidays and you must book it at least 48 hours prior (Vanessa kindly helped us with it). Make sure you’ve got proper hiking boots (if you arrive without them you can buy ones in the village) as normal trainers (let alone other shoes) are not allowed. A few things you should be aware of: Driving to Masca for the first time may seem challenging as the road leading there is a one-lane serpentine, however the quality of the road is actually excellent with frequent stopping bays and broadened turns and you can quickly get used it. Also, local drivers are much more patient with and thoughtful of tourists than for example in Corsica that has similar roads. This house has no living room - your lounge is the terrace, but there are very good wind and rain proof screens that can be rolled down should the weather turn bad. Masca is a small village in a ravine with strong echoes so this place is not for parties or listening to loud music but to enjoy peace and quiet.
