The place in the middle of nowhere

Hostel Bolico is in a beautiful secluded place at the end of the town. I was alone in a 10-bed room, so it seems like more people should hear about it ☺️ There's a very well equipped kitchen with fridge, hot shower, with towels and linen. The lady waiting for me at the reception is very nice 🥰

Location is unique, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the installations are extremely good.

“A well maintained youth hostel in the middle of a national park, great as a base for hiking”

The youth hostel is situated right in the middle of the mountains. This is great for hiking because it is possible to start at first light (about 07:30 in winter) when it is still cool and the sun has not yet come out. On the day when I arrived, there were serious problems with buses from la Laguna to Icod de los Vinos and I was not able to make the scheduled bus from Buenavista del Norte. Fortunately, the staff were very helpful. They kept the reception open after 20:00 and did not charge me extra.

Good location, in the middle of the mountains, hiking path is just behind the building. Big kitchen, lots of mugs, cutlery and so on.

“Superb location, fantastic value for your money!”

Fantastic, peaceful location surrounded by beautiful, green mountains (exactly like you see in the photos) between Masca, Teno Alto and Buenavista del Norte. Very close to hiking and biking trails. The staff (Sandra 😊) was very friendly and gave me the grand tour. I had a giant, clean room with 8 bunkbeds and a separate, but private 'ballroom-like' bathroom all to myself. The big industrial kitchen has everything you need to prepare a nice meal after a full day of activities. Make sure you bring your own food though, there is nothing close by (in Buenavista I recommend the big Alteza grocery store). The accommodation does provide coffee, tea, oil and salt for cooking). There is a huge fridge and freezer for you to use. There's plenty of outside area to sit, relax and enjoy the view and the sun, and also a viewing platform on top with a telescope which is great for stargazing on a clear night.

Very nice area in middle of natural park. Simple but clean. Basic equipment but efficient for couple of days stay. Plenty of kitchen utilities.

Good beds, nice kitchen, they even have WiFi, very quiet, only a few more other guests, had a 6-persons room for myself. Take your own food, though 1 km down the road there's a good restaurant. Great location for nature and hiking.

Surroundings of the hostel are incredible. It’s perfect place for people who love nature and would like hiking in Teno Mountains. Beds are comfortable, big, very well equipment kitchen. It was warm in the room.
