Overview
Urraca Private Island Bocas del Toro offers a gourmet on-site restaurant and over-the-water bungalows, each with a private deck, terrace, shower with hot water, and ocean views. There's free WIFI everywhere on the property. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay; an a-la-carte menu is provided to purchase lunch and dinner. The property features an outdoor saltwater pool, and is home to over a dozen monkeys rescued from the pet trade who permanently live on the island. There are many decks and lounging areas with hammocks around the island to relax, as well as picturesque swings over the water. The island is surrounded by turquoise waters with a rich diversity of marine life, the sun rises in front of the island year-round, and at night you can appreciate lots of stars and incredible bioluminescence in the water. On-site activities, and on-site spa services are available, as well as off-site activities and tours such as: Day tour to Zapatilla (only 15 mins. away from the island), Fishing expedition with Ngäbe fishermen, Expedition to the heart of the jungle & bat cave tour, Snorkel expedition to nearby reef in traditional cayucos, Day tours to Isla Colon and Red Frog Beach, Dolphin bay & horseback riding tour, Ngäbe traditional cooking gourmet experience, & Chocolate farm tour among many others.

“One of the Most Magical Places I have had the privledge of spending time”
I do not have words to describe this magical place. I can honestly say one of the best days of my life. The place is amazing, the food was so tasty. We had a great time kayaking and attempting the peddle boat... But, the Monkeys, were the reason I came. Francine is an inspirational woman, who loves and cares for these gorgeous animals like no other. I am still speechless, Thank You for such an amazing experience
