“A hidden gem that saved our holiday – absolutely exceptional!”
After being completely misled and let down by a different property, we were left stranded with nowhere to go. We stumbled upon Hotel Opera, and from the second we arrived, the team completely turned our holiday around. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding. Before we committed to booking, they took the time to show us around the entire property just to ensure we were completely happy. We instantly fell in love with the bungalow area, which surrounds a beautiful, relaxing swimming pool. Because it was fairly quiet during our stay, we practically had the pool to ourselves, which was amazing and felt like our own private little oasis. The customer service here is unmatched. The hotel receptionist and the manager simply couldn't do enough for us—nothing was too much trouble, and they helped us with absolutely everything without any fuss at all. We also loved the location. It is far enough away from the busy, noisy parts of Budva to offer total peace and quiet at night, but it’s still highly accessible. It is just a 10 to 15-minute walk to Jaz Beach and a quick 10-minute taxi ride into Budva Old Town. To top it all off, the breakfast offered a brilliant variety of options every morning. We came to Hotel Opera stressed and with nowhere to go, and we left incredibly happy. We would definitely return if we ever visit Montenegro again, and we highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for a perfect stay.

A modern and nicely decorated hotel close to the beach and about a 20-minute drive from busy Budva. The staff are very friendly and even helped surprise a family member for her birthday! The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom and shower very nice. Each guest receives slippers and a bathrobe. Breakfast offers plenty of choice, both traditional and continental options. We also had lunch on arrival, though it was a bit expensive. There’s spacious, free parking available. Nicely located for day trips. Jaz Beach is within walking distance.

The location is convenient, just a short distance from Jaz Beach. The swimming pool was a nice place to relax, and the breakfast was good with enough variety.

“The staff are wonderful!”
The staff!! They were sooo amazing, the lady at the reception (I’ve forgotten her name :( was so sweet and kind. Masha also served us exceptionally well every time we were at the restaurant. The parking space, pool and the rooms are all a great plus! Its location 10minutes from Budva gives you space away from the bustle of the town but perfect proximity if you want to go there. Would recommend it !

“The best hotel in Monténégro 🤩”
We absolutely loved this hotel. Wish we could stay longer but we'll be back for sure. The staff are so friendly, caring and take the time to get to know their guests. Svetlana, Bogden, Ilija, Pablo and all the front desk receptionists, and everyone else we didn't name, are perfect examples of delivering 5 star excellence and care. Thank you so much for making our stay the most enjoyable one we had. We love Monténégro and can't wait to return.

The warmth of the people greeting us, clean rooms. Nice pool. After a long roadtrip, we even got the rooms before the check in time. Breakfast was ok, restaurant open until 23:00.

“Nice little hotel”
Location was fine for us as we had a car. Breakfast was good as well, except the fact there was no water in whole area and we couldn't have coffee. Waitress told us we could have different coffee but have to pay separately for this. Otherwise lovely place. Nice dinners. Nice music inside restaurant

It is a small nice botique hotel, walking distance to the beach. It felt more like a family run business. Some of the staff and manager could do with a bit of training in dealing with foriegn guests. Receptionist was very nice and one of the waiters too but rest of them stared at me a bit and didn't come across very friendly. Not sure whether this is because they are not used to dark skinned guests.

“Just perfect!”
This hotel exceeded all of our expectations! Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing—so friendly and welcoming. We arrived very late due to a flight delay, and Dragana (I believe she was the owner?) was incredibly sweet! The next day, we spent our time by the swimming pool, which was clean and calm, making for a perfectly relaxing day. The drinks were great, but the food was unbelievably good. We tried all the seafood options on the menu during our 4-day stay, and everything was cooked to perfection. We also got hooked on the bread they serve—haha! Our room was fantastic—comfortable, clean, with a large balcony offering a beautiful view. We stayed for four nights, and the staff changed the towels and cleaned the room every day. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better, and we hope to return soon!
