The resort is beautifully laid out, in excellent condition and in a fantastic location. The room and facilities were spacious clean and comfortable. The pools (whilst very cold) were well situated, with a good amount of comfortable sun loungers - nicely spaced so as not to feel over crowded. The food was delicious and varied each day.

Liked the location

The beach is hidden gem of Costa Smeralda, it has the view of Tavolara and pines, not crowded. The food was also very good, there are choices for everyone. We really appreciated the adults only pool, which was far away from the pool where the animation program took a place so it was very quiet.

The property is well-kept, and everywhere is clean. When considering that this was an all-inclusive resort, the quality of the food was good. Staff was very helpuful and friendly at all times. Especially the entertainment team did their utmost to make the stay pleasant and fun.

We love the Resort, everything was just great. We highly reccomend it. From delicious and diverse food, every day, to very friendly staff. All the staff, including waiters, animation crew, cleaning ladies, reception, technicians, all of them are responsible for making us feel welcome and like at our own country. So many hardworking people in one place, fascinating! Spanish-Mexican style houses, very very nice with lots of greenery.

We had a great time in Janna 'e Sole. All rooms are located in their own house and well distributed around the site. Our venue was pretty quiet even though we were near the central restaurant and bar which plays music until midnight every evening. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned every morning by the wonderful cleaning staff. The four swimming pools were absolutely awesome, in three of them children were allowed and there's another one only for adults located in a quieter area. There were enough sun beds and umbrellas for everyone, however, as there was some heavy wind during the day, the pool guard sometimes had to close all umbrellas, so if you are sensible to the sun, make sure to have adequate protection. The all-inclusive bars served all kinds of drinks and two different cocktails every day (don't expect fancy cocktails though). The choice is indeed restrained, but that didn't really play a big role for us. Worth noting that the all-inclusive bar service ends at 23h, even though the music plays until midnight, so make sure get some drinks "in advance" if you really need to "hydrate". Also mentioned in other comments, there's no water in the room, but you can fill up your bottles for free next to the central bar. The morning breakfast was pretty much always the same, however, the lunch and dinner were pretty varied during the week. There was a special Sardinia day where they cooked "porchetto" and that was absolutely amazing (see pictures). Also make sure to not visit the restaurant during peak hours as it can get a bit crowded. Lastly, if possible make sure to have dinner after the sunset otherwise you'll have to deal with an army of wasps. There are enough parking slots and don't bother dragging your luggages to the reception as they provide a very handy golf cart service that picks up your luggages from your car and delivers them directly to your room.

“Disappointing Experience – Nowhere Near a 4-Star Standard”

I booked this hotel after sending a message in advance to specifically request a ground-floor room, as I was traveling with my 70-year-old mother. The reply I received was to make the request upon check-in. At check-in, I was told the room was not on the ground floor, but was assured we would be moved the next day if I went to reception at 10:30 a.m. I did exactly that and was told they would call me when the new room was ready. That call never came — and I am now back home from my stay. Had I been told from the start that a ground-floor room was not possible, I would have changed my booking to another hotel. Not only did we not get a ground-floor room, but we were given one in the farthest part of the resort — a 10-minute walk plus two flights of stairs from the pool, bar, restaurant, and reception. The resort is large, with bungalow-style buildings spread out across the property. Beaches: • The “short walking distance” beach is actually a 25-minute walk, with no chairs, no shade, no lifeguard, and dirty sand. • There is another beach with sunbeds and umbrellas accessible via a free train provided by the hotel. While the water is clean and warm, there are no facilities (no bar, toilets, or showers). The beach is public and shared with four other hotels. For some reason, guests from the other hotels always had the best sunbeds by the water reserved, leaving us with the ones at the very back. If you wanted a drink or needed the bathroom, you had to take the train back to the hotel. All-Inclusive: • Extremely limited: only wine (of very poor quality), a few cheap spirits, and two cocktails. • Daily snacks were: hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and leftover breakfast cakes. Facilities & Location: The grounds are well-kept and landscaped. Nothing is within walking distance — Budoni is 5 km away, San Teodoro even further. Without a car, you are stuck at the resort. On-site shop with high prices (e.g., €7 for a pack of cigarettes).

“Good resort”

Janna e Sole is a fantastic place for a relaxing holiday in Sardinia. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, the hotel offers easy access to a lovely beach, clean pools, and a nice atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the buffet meals are tasty. Animation team is excellent, be funny and comfortable for all ages…Momo makes your mood 🙌. Sea is near 800 meters.

The reception staff were like robots and didn’t care that my room lock was broken. Oh yeah, the rooms are like small houses each on ground level and mine didn’t lock :) So I was a solo female traveling and had to sleep on open door - basically closed but not locked. So anyone who passes by on ground level could freely open my room.. Also the whole property has open gates so the security is none. Luckily there were no psychos around on my dates but this is too much faith in the Universe, more like scary. And the staff at the reception seemed quite unbothered and blamed the fixer guy … They were like the psychopaths cause they lacked any empathy and just I paid the whole price while I could have walked in that room and slept for free … you may try idk
