Overview
In the centre of Budapest, the Maverick City Lodge hostel is 750 meters from the Deák Ferenc Tér transfer station for all 3 city’s metro lines; it features air-conditioned rooms, free WiFi in all areas, and on-site free bicycle rentals. Each private room at the Maverick is equipped with a large flat-screen cable TV with more than a 100 channels, while dormitory rooms come functionally furnished. Bathroom facilities can be ensuite or shared with other guests. A spacious common room and a well-equipped, freshly renovated shared kitchen are at guests’ disposal, and free coffee and tea making facilities are available. The reception is open 24/7. Airport shuttle, laundry and ticket services are offered at an additional cost. Padlocks for the lockers are available for purchase at reception. Buffet breakfast is available every morning at the property. Please contact reception for further information. We provide baby-friendly equipment upon request (subject to availability). Our property is also dog-friendly. Maverick City Lodge is located on the popular Kazinczy Street with a variety of bars, restaurants and shops within a 100-meter reach. The Gozsdu Court is 200 meters away, while the Váci Street is reachable in 900 meters. Many Budapest attractions are also within an easy reach on foot. The Dohány Street Synagogue is 350 meters away, while the Danube River is 1 km from the property.

“SUPER UNPROFESSIONELL STAFF”
Super unprofessional staff After confirming my booking in the last minutes of the day, I was told sorry we don’t have free rooms! Its a system problem ! Ofc, it was impossible to find any other option at that tough time especially after UCL final! I spent the whole night on street because of their unresponsible management The way they react was extremely rude as well ! They didn’t even try to help by calling their other place to check for free rooms ! Or even staying in the reception with payment! Anything to fix their mistake! And not letting someone be on street the whole night!

Those lovely ladies from the desk were so helpful! They were very kind to me, and one of them even helped me to take my baggage to the taxi and told the driver in Hungarian that I'm going to miss my bus, so he should be fast. Her help was so unexpected and so precious! This is definitely a good place to stay! Very clean female dorm and giant lobby and Wi fi is fast. Location is just perfect. Everything is in 5 min walk, and all stops (bus stop, metro station) is close to the place. So, it is a really good choice if it's your first time in Budapest

“Great hostel and value for money”
Really thoughtful hostel with everything needed close to hand, like plugs and a light next to every bunk. Very close to lots of great places to eat and drink.

Location was great, really close to places to eat and hangout at. Rooms were clean and our private room was really big with lots of space to hangout and sit. Lots of helpful tips and places to go to is also given to us by the hostel.

I had a nice stay at Maverick Hotel. The location is excellent, very convenient for exploring the city, with many attractions, restaurants, and public transport options nearby. The hotel itself offers good facilities, everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making the stay very enjoyable. A special thank you to Alejandro, the manager, for his outstanding hospitality and support throughout my stay. He was always very helpful, attentive, and willing to assist whenever needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.
