Overview
Hotel Bara Gellért is centrally and quietly located close to the Deli railway station with bus stops right before the door. It is very easily accessible from the M1 and M7 highways. The very centre of the city can as well be easily and quickly reached by public transport within 5 minutes or on foot. Elisabeth Bridge and the Danube are just 1 km away and Gellért Hill, Castle Hill and the Citadel can be found in the vicinity, too. There are many shopping centres and Budapest's famous thermal baths (like Gellért) near the hotel. Don't hesitate to ask the well-trained and friendly staff for help or recommendations to make the most out of your stay in Budapest. Parking is available in a garage on-site for an additional fee.

“2 night stay in Budapest”
very big room which had recently been refurbished. we were in the good side of hotel. Good underground parking, easy to find and within walking distance of city centre. or 2 bus stops.

No aircon even electticfan.. So noisy outside.. The remote cant use so the tv only one have channel.. So old furniture and so on

“Good price”
We stayed at Bara Hotel in Budapest while traveling with my son. The hotel has very large corridors and common areas, which felt a bit empty and cold at times. However, the room was comfortable, and we slept very well during our stay. The breakfast was excellent with a very good selection of food, and it was definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay for a short trip to Budapest.

The breakfast menu was reasonable, well prepared, and offered a good variety of items. However, a toaster was not available to warm the bread, and fruit options were not included on the menu.

the old lady at the breakfast was behaving towards customers like children... she took a cup from my hands and very impolitely told me something in Hungarian
