Overview
This hostel in the centre of Budapest is just 300 metres from the Great Synagogue and 900 metres from the Opera and the Central Market Hall. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi and city maps. The hostel offers non-smoking rooms with both shared and private bathrooms and toilets. Free luggage storage is provided. A shared kitchen is available to guests. The Astoria Underground Station (line M2) and the airport shuttle bus stop are only 50 metres away. The Gellert Baths are a 15-minute walk from Hostel Gaia.

“Clean rooms in an ideal location and for a reasonable cost.”
The property was in a great location and the all of the facilities were clean. Free amenities were provided in the kitchen and bathroom- both of which were handy and appreciated by my group and I. The owner, Judit, provided clear and helpful communication throughout. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick weekend get away!

A great location, friendly n helpful host. Near Astoria M metro and many buses / trams to all tourists attractions go from here. Judit is a lovely and very helpful host. The house is beautiful and Judit has kept everything you might need!!

“Very nice stay.”
The location was great (10-15 minutes to the center of Pest and 30 minutes to cross Danube and go to Buda castle by walking, metro and buses right next to the building and Keleti station at 25 minutes). It is a flat with two big rooms, a shared living room and a shared kitchen (in which you can find almost everything you need). Owners are very accommodating.

“Top address to discover Budapest!”
Very cosy two-room flat run as a hostel by Judit, a really friendly and caring host, in the heart of Budapest (Astoria). The location is definitely AAA in a typical building of the early XXth century and offering a large choice of gastronomy, and good quality (try the pizzeria Mamma Donna or the hungarian specialty local Drum Café both within walking distance). No need to unroll any Plan when coming from the airport, the bus leaves you basically in front of the door!
