We stayed at Fortuna Boat Hotel Budapest and really enjoyed the experience. It’s a unique 3‑star accommodation right on the Danube River, with 24h reception and very friendly, helpful staff. The boat facilities are clean and well maintained, and while the room is small, after all it is a boat, it’s perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the views of the Danube made the whole stay feel special and memorable. A great option if you want something different, cozy, and well located in Budapest.

The breakfast was very good. Overall, it was a nice and unusual experience to stay in a boat hotel. However, there were a couple of noticeable disadvantages, which I describe below.

nothing horrible and the staff is mean for no reason we cancelled our room cause it was very very very very hot and when i told the staff they said its not even a summer day yet it cant be that hot.....when we canceled he threw pur money and key and said bye

“A simple but enjoyable stay”
The staff were friendly and communicative. They arranged rose petals and champagne for us since we were having a romantic getaway. The bed room was lovely, with a large bed and private terrace.

The staff were super friendly I didnt catch the young girls name but honestly went above and beyond when I requested anything. She gave us the best room on the boat with a view of downtown, of evening all lit up looked mega. The room was the superior which gave us the private outdoor view but also a larger room, it was definately worth the extra money. Location is very good walking distance to most attractions. Breakfast was tastey and again the blond girl working there very friendly and happy to help with any request I made.
