it was very central, close to the bus/tram/metro, close to stores and restaurants, plenty parking spots (with payment, not free!), all in all is an amazing place if you want to be close to the center

The apartment is located very near to the Southern edge of Buda castle, yet in a quiet side street. The building is old (roughly from the turn of the 19th/20th century) and furnished with a good combination of old and new furniture. The amenities are of course modern. This also means very high ceilings and a spatious feel to the rooms. The living room looks out to the Danube, which also means that one can hear the tramways going there. The bedroom opens to the small inner courtyard. Tamás, the host, is nothing short of perfect: helpful, fast in communication, very kind. The place hence is a real gem for exploring the center, basically both the Buda and the Pest sides are within walking distance.

Clear and easy check-in instructions, gorgeous location by the river, close to many tourist attractions. The owner quickly responded to our questions. Kitchen is simple but functional. Really beautiful decor in the old rooms, with high ceilings. One room has a beautiful view.

The host Tamas met us at the apartment to hand over the keys, and he was very flexible in times. He also let us leave our suitcases at the property after check-out as we had a late flight. The apartment was in a great location - easy walking distance for attractions in Buda and excellent public transport options to get to Pest. There was also a nice little bar just round the corner from the apartment with very friendly staff where you could get some nice basic traditional food and drinks. The apartment was a good space for two people and was well equipped for basic needs (kitchen and bathroom stuff). The shower was really good, the apartment was nice and warm, and the beds were comfortable.

Great location. In the center of the city. Close to all the sights we wanted to visit. The apartment is located in a beautiful, old building, very well maintained. Everything was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby.

The property has a fantastic location in a quiet spot with direct views of the Danube. In front of the Buda Castle area as well It is perfectly situated for accessing Budapests excellent public transport system. If you like walking, there is simply nothing better than a stroll along the banks of the Danube. You are 20-30 metres from the river and the Chain Bridge and Elizabeth Bridge are both close by.

Perfect location, easy check-in and check-out, clean, well equipped.

The location of the flat was excellent with a spectcular view of the Danube. The landlord was very helpful and did his best to sort out an issue with the hot water during the first day of our stay.

It was a superb location right by the river. Within walking distance of the castle, citadel and Pest area just a short distance away across the bridge. The host Tamas was exceptionally helpful too. Can recommend Zbikes if you want to get around on two wheels.

“Authentic and peaceful”

This apartment is a hidden gem. So peaceful and pretty. I like the old original style. Transport is so close that the location was perfect. Tamas met us at the apartment even though we got in late. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. The main room is much bigger than in the pics. The windows are just stunning. We ate our food at the dining table there, which was a big size.
