Overview
Located on 60 acres of natural grounds, this traditional Canadian lakefront wilderness lodge is located 3 km from the village of Buckhorn, Ontario. It boasts a pool and hot tub. All rooms include free Wi-Fi. A sofa and a seating area are offered in each air-conditioned lodge room at Westwind Inn on the Lake. All of the comfortable guest rooms include a balcony with garden views and a large en suite bathroom. Offering seasonal dining, Treetops Dining Room is located on-site at Westwind Inn. The restaurant features country casual dining with spectacular lakeside views. It serves breakfast and a 3-course dinner with a changing menu. Guests can enjoy free use of watercraft, canoes, kayaks, sailboats and bicycles at Westwind Inn on the Lake. There are numerous scenic hiking trails on the property offering opportunities for guests to view local wildlife. The Gallery on the Lake, one of Canada's largest retail art galleries featuring original works of art, is 5 minutes' walk from this inn. Whetung Ojibwa Craft & Native Art Gallery is 10 minutes' drive away.

I loved that we could go kayaking on the lake, right at the property. A beautiful art gallery is a short walk away if you are looking for original canadian art. A very serene and pleasant experience. Inga and Jamie were very helpful and attentive hosts.
