“Amazing food”
My husband is vegan and the staff at breakfast and in their gorgeous restaurant went out of their way to make him the most delicious food. They made so much effort to give him multiple options each night and the food was out of this world. I would highly highly recommend Il Verreno to anyone travelling in Tuscany but particularly if you vegan / vegetarian.

“A special place”
We spent one of our most beautiful vacation days at the accommodation. We were so happy that we extended our stay. It is a beautiful complex with very comfortable rooms. There were two highlights: on the one hand, the restaurant with its incredibly good food and very friendly service—a culinary delight that must be experienced. And last but not least, the adorable dogs Lola and Ari, who gave us a warm welcome every day and whom we already miss very much. We will definitely come back sometime. Thank you very much.

“Relaxing getaway”
Great staff who were accommodating when our flight was delayed. The property is in a gorgeous area of Tuscany, great for hikes and general relaxation.

The staff were so accommodating. We had a flight delay and rushed to the property so we could eat on there terrace. The servers were also kind, professional and very accommodating. Engaged in small talk. You had the sense they enjoyed their jobs. The room was spacious and very quiet, with a beautiful overlooking vineyards. We hiked around the area and then took a refreshing dip in the pool. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Parking area was spacious and easy to get to the room from.

Very beautifully situated on a hill. Wonderful stone houses, tastefully furnished. Spacious garden. And the best: the restaurant. Don't miss lunch and dinner there. It is just delicious. And the staff is lovely.

Exceptional property, on a small hill top. Spacious room. The restaurant is closer to fine dining than traditional, with excellent courses and an extensive wine list. Staff is very well prepared and friendly. We had a big delay with our flight and arrived at 01:00 in the night, the Chef was waiting for us and was very helpful. Amazing wildlife around. Wild boards, rabbits, foxes. Drive carefully. Not cheap, not overly expensive, hits the right balance. The location is 30 30-minute drive from Siena, and it is great for exploring all major Tuscan regions. 1 hour drive to Montepulcianio, San Giminiano, Chianti regions.
