“unprofessional!”

Extremely unprofessional – reservation cancelled without notice I made a reservation for one night because I had an event in Brussels and didn’t want to drive back home after drinking. I received a confirmation email, so I assumed everything was in order. However, while we were already on our way to the hotel, I discovered (by coincidence) a second email sent around noon stating that the reservation was cancelled. This email ended up in my spam folder and there was no explanation given. To make things worse: - There was no phone number or exact address in the booking details. - There was no website or way to contact the property. - When we arrived at the street, the barbershop and night shop nearby had never even heard of this hotel. - There was no visible sign or indication that the property existed at that location. Because of this last-minute and unexplained cancellation, my colleague and I had to drive back home at night, after I had been drinking – a very unsafe and unacceptable situation. This is by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with a hotel booking and I don't recommend it to anyone.
