Beautiful and calm place, coffee machine - coffee and MILK 😍, confortable beds, flowers

I booked Hotel Du Congres, but unfortunately I cannot really review Hotel Du Congres: upon arrival, I was informed that my room was actually located in a different building across the street, operating under a different name, and this was never communicated to me in advance. I've booked one hotel and end up staying in another. A bit like buying a ticket for a concert and being sent to a different show — except the price remains exactly the same. The room was located in what appeared more like a service building than a hotel, and it was tucked away in a space that strongly resembled an under-stair room. It certainly did not match the expectations created by the photos displayed at the time of booking. To have breakfast, I had to leave the building, cross the street, and walk to the main hotel — a detail that would have been useful to know beforehand. To make matters worse, the room had several maintenance and cleanliness issues: stained carpet, a non-functioning bathroom mirror light, a stained blanket, and a defective shower-head holder. The most disappointing aspect was not even the condition of the room itself, but the complete lack of prior communication. Had I known that I would not actually be staying in the hotel I had booked, I would have considered other options. In short, the staff was polite, but when I book a hotel, I expect to stay in the hotel I chose — not in an unexpected alternative that I only discover at check-in.

We got the room with fireplace as requested. The interior is very impressive! We even had a small balcony. The neighborhood is quiet and safe to walk at nights, and has a huge variety of cafes and restaurants around the corner. I can recommend BarkBoy for a delicious coffee.

Location was ideal; central enough. The room was adequate except for the squeaking floors. Breakfast was tasty, especially the pancakes.

The venue is located in a pretty quiet area, still in the proximity of the metro station. Tram could be another choice for public transport. Very friendly staff at the reception desk.

Had a lovely stay. All the staff were very kind, helpful and friendly. Room was basic amd bed was comfortable. They let me check in early which was great.

It's off a lively square with bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from Brussels Central Station. Although very central, it was quiet and we had no issues with noise The staff are very friendly. I have returned to this hotel 4 times

Check-in was very comfortable, and the night staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived around 9 PM, and he even offered us coffee, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the metro, and ride services like Uber and Bolt are easily accessible right in front of the hotel. Our flight was at 9pm and the hotel allowed us to store our luggage at reception even after check-out.
