Small single bed

Beds were super comfortable, good water pressure and the staff were super helpful. They let us leave our luggage after checkout so we could explore the city.

The place was dirty. When we arrived, there were no pillowcases on the pillows. We had to ask three times for face towels, and in the end we still didn’t receive them — they probably didn’t have any available. When we booked the room, we saw that a hairdryer was included, but it was only available at the reception. Etc.

More like a dungeon then a hotel when you go inside after the reception. The room had a window on the inside, no natural light at all and very poor air quility. Small rooms , packed togheter and you could here everything.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Barry. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel was also very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Very easy check-in. Also very kind to allow us to stow our luggage before check-in, as we had got in to Brussels early.

Hotel Barry is centrally located in the city of Brussel. You can walk to the two main train stations- Central station and Midi Zuid station. 15 minutes walk to the famous Grand Palace and Manneken Pis. The accomodation is very clean and reasonably spacious. The staff /owner were extremely accomodating.

Title: A Nightmarish Stay – Total Lack of Rest and Poor Management Rating: ⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was nothing short of a disaster. If you are looking for a place to rest or sleep, do not book this hotel. The Construction Nightmare From the early morning hours until 10:00 PM, the hotel was a construction zone. The noise was relentless and made it impossible to relax or work. Just when I thought the nightmare was over at 10:00 PM, a new set of loud noises started right above my room. It sounded like more renovations or heavy manual labor. Room Conditions & Comfort The room itself was incredibly uncomfortable: • The Heat: The room was sweltering. Since there was no fan provided, the only option was to open the window, but the external noise was so loud that I had to keep it shut. • Light Pollution: The room is not light-proof at all. Bright light leaked in from under the door, from the shower area, and through the poorly fitted windows. It felt like trying to sleep in a brightly lit hallway. Service & Responsiveness This was the most frustrating part. I complained about the noise above my room multiple times: 1. First Complaint: Nothing changed. 2. Second Complaint: A staff member apologized and assured me the issue would be resolved within the hour. 3. Third Hour: Still nothing. The noise continued unabated. It wasn't until midnight that I finally gave up. I was forced to sleep with noise-canceling headphones just to get a few hours of restless shut-eye. Final Verdict I want to be fair: the man at the reception was very friendly and polite. However, a friendly smile cannot compensate for a complete lack of basic service and a room that is unfit for sleep. The overall management and service were catastrophic. I strongly advise against staying here until they finish their renovations and learn how to respect their guests' peace and quiet.

“Amazing hotel, I would recommend to everyone”

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was incredibly central, making it so easy to get around and explore everything nearby. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish — bag drop was quick and hassle-free, and it was a huge bonus that they allowed us to store our bags after checkout. The hotel itself was spotless, with a high standard of cleanliness throughout. On top of that, it offered great value for money, which made the stay even better. I would definitely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
