Overview
The 3-star Hotel Amaten is surrounded by the Dolomites and features a nice furnished garden overlooking the landscape and Brunico. Set 9 km from Brunico, it features a well-equipped wellness area. Your room at the Amaten is fitted with traditional light-wood furnishings and either carpeted or wooden floors. Each one comes with an LCD satellite TV and a private bathroom. As a guest you will have free access to the wellness centre, featuring a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and hay bath. 2 hot tubs are available on request. The relaxation room is equipped with newspapers, magazines and sun loungers. A gala dinner and a theme night are both offered once a week. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at the restaurant, where regional cuisine is served. Breakfast is buffet style and includes cakes, eggs, sausages and cheese. Meals are served on the terrace during summer.

The hotel is located on a green and peaceful Highland above Brunico. Room was good and nicely arranged. Personnel was kind and supportive. Breakfast very rich and good quality. Special mention for the restaurant (we had half board): quality was excellent, exceeding various restaurants where we went during our trip. Wellness area was nice (we especially liked the hay sauna).

“The best of Dolomity moutains”
The hotel has a beautiful view of Brunico and moutains. The staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast and diner are exeptional.

“I'm not at all picky and never complain about my hotel. I had to point out some extreme anomalies.”
Breakfast was fine and I especially recommend fried eggs. The view of Kronplatz is excellent. It is only 15 minutes away from Riscone gondola base station.

“Comfortable place at the countryside of the Pustertal.”
Nice location with great views to the Kronplatz mountains. Good starting point for walks in the surroundings. Both dinner and breakfast are recommendable, with a good choice of food. The rooms are very quiet and you get a relaxing sleep. The personnel is welcoming and kind. Easy parking next to the hotel.

View from the room is amazing. Hosts were great, one evening they organized little gathering near the fire with food and wine. Breakfast was buffet with wide selection and for dinner you choose between two menus(3 courses).

“Wonderfull stay”
The hotel is really wonderfull. The room, delicious food, great “family” atmosphare of the place, staff, services…all was perfect. If I could rate the hotel 20/10, I would do it. We will definitely come back🙂
