The rooms were very stylish, and the gardens were well maintained. The restaurant on the grounds was excellent - good food and excellent service. The whole surroundings are beautiful. Everything in the room worked and was in top form. Truly a beautique hotel. 15 minutes from Inhotim!

The views from the room and breakfast are just incredible! The breakfast is plenty and tasteful. The rooms are basic with a spacious bathroom and nice balcony. Perfect for our 2-day visit to Inhotim, only 15 minutes driving.

Absolutely delicious breakfast with a range of fresh fruits, baked goods, freshly squeezed fruit juice and coffee. Scrambled eggs are available on request. There is a very pretty outlook over the garden and valley. Birdlife was, for a visitor to the area, amazing. We were in Chalet 1 which had a balcony, bar fridge, excellent air conditioning and high quality sliding glass doors. We were not particularly bothered by bird, dog or train noises but there was quite a bit of noise on one evening associated with political rallies for upcoming elections. It was an easy drive to Inhotim each day. Drinking water and other items were available at reception and were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a stay here for independent travellers - you do need a car to get travel the 4.5km to Inhotim from the Pousada Verde Villas.

Although i had booked with a valid credit card the hotel threathned to cancel my booking if i did not pay by another mean the full amount before my stay. As it turned out when at the hotel there was no problem with my credit card. Upon arrival i was asked twice the price we had agreed via Booking.com Value for money is very poor.

“Very good pousada option in Brumadingho as gateway to Inhotim”

Very nice small pousada of 10 double rooms. Close to Inhotim (approx 12 min by car). Low key looks from the outside, gate opens into a parking for hotel guests. Charming breakfast terrace with nice furniture with a lovely view into the garden and valley. Evening and morning air is filled with the songs of zircadas, which contributed to the atmosphere. Double rooms were slotlessly clean, little balcony, fridge, air con working quietly. We appreciated the different blanket options. Very good Brazilian type breakfast. As I am in need of a specific diet, they prepared a vegetable only plate for me on the first day of our stay and the second day they were already set to do the same. Much appreciated. Currently their dinner restaurant was closed. They helped with dinner options in the area and are hoping to reopen their Bistro for the evenings soon. Probably one of the best options in Brumadinho. If coming to Inhotim again with friends we would again choose this option over staying in Belo Horizonte and commuting (in heavy traffic) to/from Inhotim.
