Overview
This 4-star hotel in the health resort of Bruchhausen-Vilsen lies next to the historic Heiligenberg Abbey. Set in romantic gardens, it offers a spa area, rustic restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Country-style rooms with traditional furniture, a TV and a minibar are offered at Forsthaus Heiligenberg. Each room has a private bathroom. The Forsthaus’s elegant restaurant serves regional dishes made with homegrown produce. A breakfast buffet is provided in the mornings. Guests can enjoy drinks in the garden or on the terrace. Guests can hike and cycle in the surrounding Hohenkamp Forest or in Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park, a 15-minute drive from Heiligenberg. “Charming stay”
Beautiful and quiet place, magical under the snow, with a nice walk around the former mound. Dinner at the restaurant was extremely good, I had one of the most tender rumsteaks I have had in a long time. The hotel sells all kinds of jam and local products like apple juice. We were upgraded to a large suite, which very comfortable, with a lovely terrace straight onto the garden and a huge bathroom. Kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Very easy parking onsite.
