Featuring a gourmet restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a spa area, Heritage Hotel San Rocco is set an 18th century building in the picturesque Istrian village of Brtonigla. Excellent accommodation recently revamped. The best accommodation we had in our 10 days stay in Croatia. The restaurant is Michelin star worthy. Fantastic pool and garden.

What we liked – cleanliness, the room, and the surroundings with an outdoor pool (unfortunately not in use during winter). Dogs are welcome, but they are not allowed in the restaurant as it is very small.

“A Place That Tells Its Own Story”
Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into a little story – everything was thoughtfully designed, warm, and magical. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff incredibly polite and kind – every gesture, every smile felt natural and full of care. The restaurant deserves special praise: the food was truly outstanding, with flavors that linger in your memory. It’s rare to find a place that combines such quality, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. The location is also fantastic – within just 10 to 20 minutes, you’ll find a number of renowned Croatian wineries that are truly worth visiting. It’s an ideal base for anyone who appreciates wine, nature, and authentic local experiences. What impressed us even more was the excellent value for money – something that’s truly hard to find these days. We felt like valued guests, not just another number. We’re definitely coming back. 🌟

“Nice place with some room for improvement”
The pool area is very nice, all feels cosy and very relaxing. Love the fact that it is boutique, but than again the place is small and even with all rooms fool it feeks packed. Breakfast decent.

“Ahhhhh ... so relaxing”
A beautiful property with a view of the surrounding hills and olive groves. Just idyllic. Our room was a nice size with a very comfortable bed with really nice linens. Great shower! The elevator is a welcome amenity -- we'd been lugging our bags up stairs for 10 days and it was a nice change ! Breakfast on the terrace was lovely -- fruit, pastries, meat & cheese, local honey, eggs, good coffee. I wish we had more time to enjoy the grounds -- it was a little chilly to use the pool. We didn't eat dinner in their restaurant, but we ate at their casual place up the street -- delicious pizza.

“San Rocco the choice for a restful stay in Istria”
An exceptional choice to stay in Istria Region. The booking page does justice with what you encounter. Superb overall comfort and an AMAZING breakfast. Really nice pool. The location of the hotel is really good, having restaurants within walking distance. For those with car, San Rocco can work a good base to explore the region. “Perfect 6days stay”
The hotel provides everything you need for short 5-7 days vacations. Great garden, nice interiors, wonderful food, great vines and perfect family service. Nice village just aside, as wellmas many vineries to visit.
