We had a wonderful stay. Lydie and Bernard are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are also very nice. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh local products and good coffee.The location is perfect for exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

They welcome you into there beautiful home and nothing is too much trouble We arrived in the evening and the hot tub awaited us along with a glass of wine! We had an absolutely delightful stay at Lydi & Bernard's charming place in the picturesque countryside. Their property is a true gem, with a beautiful pool, stunning landscapes, and a meticulously finished studio where we had the pleasure of staying. The breakfast experience was nothing short of wonderful, featuring a delightful spread of homemade jams, yogurts, an assortment of fresh breads, pastries, and cereals. Lydi & Bernard truly know how to start the day on a delicious note. Lydi & Bernard themselves were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of memorable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. They've thought of every detail, from providing essential toiletries to a well-stocked first-aid kit, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. Our room was not only comfortable but also equipped with air conditioning, adding an extra layer of comfort during our stay. It's clear that Lydi & Bernard have a passion for hosting, and their dedication to creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere shines through in every aspect of our stay. The property was very nice indeed, the hosts (Lydie and Bernard), a lovely French couple with excellent English language skills couldn't have done enough for us. The food that we had, a plentiful continental breakfast every day and a couple of evening meals were wonderful and we also enjoyed an aperitif before dinner and a small sweet surprise every day. The Pool was also lovely and we could use it whenever we wished, the views from the house: WOW, so peaceful and watching the horse and donkeys strolling around was also nice, waking up to the sound of a distant cuckoo each day and early evening was also very relaxing! The outside areas are also very well kept. We also had a go at archery whilst we were there (coached by Bernard) and played the French game of Pétanque. I would also like to say a very big thank you to our wonderful hosts for giving us some great advice on the local tourist spots and in great detail and also for booking us a table in a local restaurant in which the food was lovely.

“An idyllic escape”

Lydie and Bernard are wonderful hosts, we couldn't have asked for more. Their hospitality and cooking are the best, even faced with the gluten free challenge, and we felt utterly relaxed. Their 'Dovecot' offers a bijou couple's nest tucked away in tranquil countryside with private pool overlooking the valley, with a displaced dove quietly nesting in the eaves outside the window.
