Downtown Montreal is less than 10 minutes’ drive from this motel. A jogging and bicycle path runs right in front of the property. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi and cable TV. A seating area with a sofa is featured in the Motel Champlain guest rooms. A small fridge and work desk are also included. Free toiletries are available. The motel sits near the edge of the River St-Laurent and a until midnight front desk is available for guest convenience at the Champlain Motel. Free parking is offered. The Casino Montreal is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the motel and the Montreal/Saunt-Hubert Airport is 25 minutes’ drive away.

The receptacle in the washroom didn't work. The concierge came and checked and could not fix it. An extension cord was provided as a temporary solution. The toilet stinks so much that the exhaust fan had to be turned on all the time.

I've been to montreal a few times and have tried a number of hotels/motels to stay at. This one is by far my favourite. It's a little far from the island but it's well worth it. The price to stay here is very reasonable and an extra $12 to keep the car in a downtown parking garage during the day is totally fine compared to staying somewhere downtown. The room was exactly as the pictures suggested; I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfy it was. In all honesty this place is perfect for someone who's chill, not picky, and doesn't have unreasonable expectations for the price paid. I came expecting a clean bed and shower and that's exactly what i got. Staff was friendly here too.

“Great location for trips into Montreal”
The location is easy to get to without having to go into central Montreal. This is no frills accommodation but it is clean and comfortable. You can catch a bus into the city just down the road

“UNACCEPTABLE”
I received an email the day before that they were able to accommodate our late arrival as we were traveling from 11 hours away. We also had heavy traffic due to an accident. When arrived NO ONE was in the office it was dark and locked up. No email or phone call to tell us they were closing or that they left the key. It took us til 2am (2 hours after arrival to Quebec) to find another hotel. We were in the dark parking lot calling several motels until we found one that had a room available. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I'm out $120 now after sitting in an empty lot with my kids in the middle of the night. I told them we would be arriving late after an 11 hour drive.

“Great location and value for a short stay”
Updated rooms, very clean, fridge and microwave were handy to have. The location was perfect for access to Parc Jean Drapeau, the Olympic Basin and La Ronde. It was quiet despite being on a busy road. A great place to stay for a night or two.

“EXCELLENT!”
Service, convenience and cost. The three pillars to the hospitality industry. The new owners have completely renovated the rooms and the location is excellent. Just at the foot of the beautiful Samuel de Champlain bridge. The reception was courteous and when I forgot something in the room when checking out, I caleed and their staff got right on it. They even offered me a coffee as I waited to retrieve it. XXX
