The location was perfect; walking distance to various shops, great cafes and restaurants in Brookline. The hotel has parking garage but also there were a plenty of street parking option. The room was clean and spacious, and bed was comfortable.

Great location in genteel Brookline, a few minutes walking distance from Coolidge Corner/Harvard St shops & restaurants/cafes. The C line tram to/from Boston proper stops directly opposite the hotel. Spacious rooms. Free continental breakfast, the filter coffee was fresh and plentiful. Parking garage in the basement.

Great location for running the Boston marathon. Easy access to city centre with a T stop right outside the front of the hotel. Staff were super friendly. Room big and comfortable. Breakfast good for what I needed (maybe some more mixed berries/yoghurt options for future would be good) and general stay was great.

“Good Value & Location for a Boston Trip”

Location was excellent - right next to T stop. Neighbourhood amenities 10 minute walk away. Staff were super friendly. Hotel was very clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Good size TV in my room. Good shower. Nice communal area on ground floor. Price was good for Boston. We did get a (continental) breakfast - which was a nice surprise as we were not expecting ANY breakfast.

“A “security guard” from the hotel attempted to enter our room at 3:30am”

Very bad experience. When we checked in, we were initially assigned to the wrong room twice. After these issues, we were finally given a room that matched our reservation stated on the email confirmation and the photos shown online. However, the most concerning and shocking situation happened at approximately 3:30 a.m. (between Saturday and Sunday). Someone repeatedly knocked on our door and attempted to enter our room, identifying themselves as a security guard. My wife and I were terrified by this situation. We immediately called the reception, and a rude employee who identified herself as Cassandra told us that according to the hotel system, our room should have been vacant. We found this explanation very suspicious and concerning. We did not opened the door and I confirmed over the phone that we were given this room when we were checked in and gave my first and last name information. The employee was very rude and unapologetic. The next morning our room key cards stopped working, and we had to go to the reception again. A different employee reactivated the cards and we told him about our scary experience last night. Unfortunately, nothing was done or written down and he didn’t know why the employee called at 3:30am in the morning, but will talk to Cassandra.
