Amazing stay, amongst nature and incredibly relaxed environment. Great value for money. The room was perfect for a family, and the open-all-hours lounge and honour bar really nice touch. Great breakfast also.

Everything was lovely! It is in the countryside. When we went it was snowing and everything was white - quite magical! Friendly staff, who were kind enough to reschedule our stay in the last minute (due to illness) - highly appreciated that. Beautiful, cozy hotel, spacious comfortable rooms, clean! We had a light dinner there and it was delicious, as well as breakfast which was superb! Also, there are alpacas and other farm animals in the premises - so a bonus especially if you have children!

Such a lovely place! Great beds, big room, good shower, very clean, very good breakfast. Also the gardens were very nice to walk around in. We were very pleasantly surprised about this place and would definitely recommend!

“Beautiful hotel with a hint of minimalistic sophistication”
Beautiful property and garden, the natural pond was great to swim in. Alpacas were super cute. The trampoline and kids climbing frame was a bonus, did the job to keep the youngest one entertained. The lady who welcomed us in was very nice and attentive. Food tasty. Beds comfortable. The whole stay was very pleasant indeed!

“Exceptional Stay in Beautiful Green Surroundings”
Landhuis Hotel de Hilkensberg was absolutely excellent—one of the highlights of our trip. The estate is stunningly green and peaceful, with a natural swimming pool and charming animal residents, including a super-friendly chicken, and hungry alpacas you can feed. The breakfast was amazing, and the evening snacks were just as impressive. The food overall was fantastic, and the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The team was welcoming and very accommodating. A beautiful, restful escape—wish we could’ve stayed longer!

“Beautiful place!”
Stopped here on our Eurovelo19 cycle trip. It is in a very beautiful, rural location. About 10 minute cycle plus small ferry to Arcen evening meal. Breakfast great and really loved the place.

“Wonderful stay in a idyllic setting. Will definitely recommend”
Welcoming reception to a beatiful hotel with the most perfect attention to detail. My children didn’t want to leave - their favourite part of the whole trip was feeding the alpaca, sheep and fish! Plenty for families - feeding animals, trampoline, climbing frame and loads of space to roam. Lovely location with lots of nice restaurants nearby. We used as a perfect base to visit Toverland.
