The decor and layout was lovely, one of the nicest places I have stayed in for this type of accommodation and price. There were only 4 rooms in total so there was not alot of people coming and going. The bed had a topper so was super comfortable although the pillows could have been softer. There was a rooftop area for morning practice and a well equipped shared kitchen with a comfortable lounging and eating area. I liked that my room also had its own water bottle stand and a mini fridge. There were two cute resident cats one of which befriended me!

Stayed here many times when it used to be a hostel so was great to see it was still an option for the trip to Puerto Escondido. The location in "La Punta" is second to none right in the thick of it and a short walk to the beach. The three of us each had our own room (four in total on the property) and had an essential air con and a water cooler. A lot of thought has gone into making the common areas a relaxing area to be with lots of space, plants and hammocks to chill. There's a kitchen area with a fridge and two showers and two toilets. The profile of La Punta has exploded in the last 5 years so there is a lot going on around the Pacific Buddha, however all the bars shut at midnight around the property, if that's a concern.

Great communication from the host, value for money, felt safe as a solo female traveler (met some lovely people there). Super comfy bed too!

“Mas y minus”

The location to the beach was fantastic! The owner was quick to fix the shower door and also the door to our unit. A bit of communication about how things work would've been nice, ie. The gas stove, the water jug in the fridge, the cat and feeding it or not, and general operation of things... But sometimes that casual vibe is nice, just would be good to know ahead of time maybe? For the price, I feel like there are better options, but it was a very peaceful and lovely place to come home to each night.

Best bed ever! We got the Ango room and the bed was amazing, huge, good sheets. Place is really well located at the punta, quiet house, good kitchen, bathroom.
