Since we needed to accommodate 12 guests, it took us a few days of searching before we found this homestay that came highly recommended. After reading so many positive reviews and seeing that it’s located right in the city center (Brinchang), we decided to go for it. Once we made the booking, the host messaged us to confirm the number of guests and share the house rules. They reminded us not to bring any kitchenware since the homestay already had everything — and they were absolutely right! Still, we brought our own portable hotpot set, which turned out to be useful because the host’s induction cooker couldn’t be moved around. (Note: No pork is allowed since the host is Muslim.) On the day we arrived, the host had everything perfectly prepared and even sent a video beforehand showing the setup. They had thoughtfully arranged fresh flowers everywhere and prepared a delicious chocolate cake and chocolates for us. When we walked into the house, we were truly touched by their hospitality — the lights were on, music was playing, and the whole place was beautifully decorated with flowers and gifts. It immediately felt like we had chosen the right place. Each room was spacious, and every one had its own attached bathroom, which was incredibly convenient. The house is also very large and can comfortably accommodate up to nearly 20 people — perfect for big families or group gatherings. That evening, the host even messaged to ask if we liked the cake. When I said it was super delicious, they surprised us the next day with another one, saying we could take it home — but we ended up finishing it that very day! The location of the homestay was also excellent — just a 3-minute walk to 99 Speedmart and 7-Eleven, an 8-minute drive to Kea Farm, and 15 minutes to the Boh Tea Plantation. There were also plenty of great breakfast spots within a 5-minute drive. Thank you, Soraya and your husband, for making us feel so warmly welcomed and at home.

“A perfect stay at Ahn Yi Residence”

Location: located near Brinchang, just a 3-5km drive Space: 4 big rooms with a big pantry. The host put in a lot of effort to maintain this house. Cleanliness: super clean despite such a big house, believed other guests also put in effort to maintain cleanliness of this house Host: Puan Soraya, a very nice lady in her 70’s did her utmost effort to ensure the guests receive all the possible assistance throughout the stay. Very lovely of this.

The environment is fantastic and the overall design of the room is beautiful. The unique British style has greatly improved the overall feeling of me and my family. Bed is enough very suitable for big family living 👍🏻 the most satisfied is that the kitchen utensils are particularly complete, there is no need to take anything to go, it is also very convenient to cook hot pot with the family at night 👍🏻 location is also very good, out of the night market. The owner was very kind and patient to answer any questions, which I really appreciate! If there is a chance to go to Cameron again will choose this homestay! 👍

“The best house of trip ever. Recommendation for trips with a group of friends (families with kids)”

Everything is perfect. First of all, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They provided comprehensive guidance before we arrived and reminded us about the weather and temperature. When we asked if we can connected our own devices for the music, the owners offered an extra Bluetooth speakers for us. Additionally the owners offered us the tea time treatments and breakfast from Starbucks. Let along Christmas style house decoration and tones of snacks and fruits prepared. The house are super clean, big and well equipped with all kinds of facilities. We ended up spent lots of time of our 5-day trip in the house and had lots of fun. The house is also very convenient. It is near the major attractions and night market. It is really suitable for stay with a group of friends with kids.

Definitely suitable for a big family trip to cameron highlands. 9 adults and 6 children stay comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen. Zero worries to prepare food for the children. Great location away from the weekend jam. Top cleanliness. Reasonable price for such size and location. And dont forget the friendly host puan soraya.

The house was fantastic and my family love it very much with enough beds for my family of 15 and a large kitchen which u can have steamboat and bbq owner Soraya a very nice lady and provided us with lots of helps as we have 50% old folks and kids. And we love the chicken pies, apples pies and cheesecake prepared by soraya. We love the place so much and we will definitely be back.

The House Was Amazing

We feel very welcomed by the hosts, Soraya and Roshan. The entire house was decorated with roses and lilies freshly cut from the residence itself. We were greeted with welcome gifts consisting of pies, tarts, pastries, a huge fruit basket and an entire strawberry cheesecake. The place is so beautiful, especially the kitchen, and we made full use of the kitchen facilities. We had steamboat on the first night, bbq on the second night and on the third night, Soraya surprised us with sup tulang and satay. The TV is in the huge kitchen so we spent a lot of time there, eating and watching movies and soccer. This is a 4-storey house and guests get to occupy the first 2 levels. The room on level 1 can fit 6 pax. The rooms on level 2 can fit another 14 pax or so. The hosts stayed in another apartment while we were there. Toiletries and clean towels are provided during the stay. There is a bathtub in 2 of the rooms.

Exceptionally well maintained, new, clean, bright, large rooms with attached bath and toilets, fantastic huge kitchen cum dining area, space at the back for BBQ.

The house is very clean, everything is well equipped especially the kitchen supplies. the hosts were very friendly and attentive. we feel very welcomed.

Recommend! I love the view and its location is strategic... the house is very clean and perfect for a family stay. Best place to stay if you bring your whole family including parents, sibs and kids. They have 4rooms and many beds. Thank you to That was a big and very clean, big and nice kitchen. With 4 Hoods 🤩 and 5 Hobs. Ms Soraya was very helpful and answered all our questions over WhatsApp. And thanks for the delicious butter cake. Will visit again, if we go Cameron with numbers of people.

Process Check in process is fast and easy. Ahn yi prepared the property in advance of check in time thus property is ready once we arrived (We arrived 30 mins earlier). Property owner is responsive in whatsapp, easy to communicate. Security deposit was transferred back on same day as check out. Owner also sent tarts, brownie and tuna puff for us, a warm gesture. Property - Property is very clean and well kept. Renovation style is a bit of cottage feel. Rooms - Beds are comfortable, comforter is great in Cameron weather. Total of 4 rooms, 2 rooms sleeps 4 people, 1 room can sleep 6 and last rooms can sleep 7. Great for big group. Toilets - Every thing you need are provided, standard no less than hotel. Some rooms comes with 2 toilet which is great for getting ready. Kitchen - The main area of property. Huge area to cater for everyone staying to chat and eat. Equipment is fully loaded! from BBQ or steamboat, lots of plates, bowls, cutlery, crockery, utensils, filtered water dispenser, oven, microwave, 5 wash basin, 4 cooking points. Basically everything you need can be found in property. Parking - Able to park 3 normal sized car inside front pouch, in front of gate able to park another 2.
