“Sister Mary still runs her Convent like a top! A great stay awaits you!”
The staff of The Convent, from the breakfast servers to the cafe manager to the bartender to the owner who made me a to-go coffee for my 7AM walk around Brigus, were exceptional. A happy chatty crew who knew their stuff! We stayed in the Mother Superior's room, and who knew that Sister Mary had such a great hot-tub? TOTALLY recommended!

Loved having the common room on our floor. Lots of space to write postcards, watch TV, do a jigsaw puzzle, make a cup of tea, etc. I met other guests and yet we all had enough space for personal pursuits.

“A Charming Place to stay”
We were greeted with enthusiasm on our arrival, and while we enjoyed a scone and a latte, we learnt some of the area's history. Our room was clean, airy and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - a couple of choices, but cooked as we sat over coffee, chatting to other guests. We had a very relaxed stay.

The staff was excellent, very friendly, helpful. The location in the centre of the town was great we walked everywhere. The breakfast was great, good way to start the day.
