Location was perfect for us. Easy to find, beach just across the road. Shop & Cafe' just down the road in the village for coffee or extra supplies. Enjoy the peace & privacy.

The property sits just above the hwy and it was noisy. Also, with the overgrown hedge, did have a good view of the coast.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little house near the beach close to Dunedin. The place is incredibly cozy, warm, and peaceful — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean. Being just a few meters from the beach made the experience even more special. Everything was very well cared for and you can really feel the love that has gone into this place. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. My mum especially loved the calm atmosphere and the charm of the house. We truly had a beautiful time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea

“Perfect for getting away from it all but close enough to Dunedin City to drop our daughter off to uni.”
Absolutely loved the location, so close to the sea and surrounded by fields on the other sides. Everything you need, lovely comfortable bed. Our stay was made extra special by waking up with a sea lion next to the house! And 4 alpacas having a look too - just lovely, thank you

We had an issue with running water for a part of the stay but John and Sabine were extremely responsive and did everything they could to try to rectify the issue and make the stay and experience as comfortable for us as they could. The property itself is beautiful - right across the beach and clean

“Classic, comfortable kiwi beach bach”
Loved the classic kiwi beach bach vibe in this place! It had everything you needed for a warm, comfortable stay without feeling as though you had to be too careful. It was super clean and well-equipped but not too fussy or precious. Communications were friendly, fast and filled with useful information.
