The location of this cottage is impeccable, a couple of steps and you're at the ovens River with autumn leaves blanketing the ground. A couple more steps and your in Brights cbd. The room had great facilities to keep us warm and cosy, it was clean and very well kept. The host Alistair was very accommodating and helpful. We look forward to staying again.

Absolutely loved staying at Metrimeet! What I loved most was that we could walk into town along the river and have a delicious meal and then walk home. The cottage was very comfortable, warm and had nice beds to sleep in.

We stayed in Riverside cottage. Close to town but felt like a private escape on the ovens river. Loved the fireplace comfy bed and facilities, beautiful gardens and autumn colours. The Canyon walk is directly accessible and an easy walk to town along the river.

We loved the location near the river and walking tracks and a short walk into cafe’s etc. it was nice having a wood heater for staying in on cold evenings.

We loved the trees and the general area. The cottage was good, everything worked and the fireplace was lovely and heated the cottage very quickly.

Locality, Alistair was very helpful. Perfect location beside the river and the gardens are beautiful.

It has all the necessary facilities to be very comfortable. We had an attractive cottage in a lovely garden. As a bonus there were no mean spirited notices telling us what not to do (as if that affects the people who vandalise.)

Such a precious gem of a Cottage hidden in amongst the bushes, trees and beautiful flowers. A 5 minute walk along the calming river to Bright. Everything you needed was there, spotlessly clean and comfy and a spa and wood fire to top it off.

Location was very close walking distance to town, hosts were great, friendly and helpful. Onsite parking was secure. Overall, everything made for a very good experience

Loved the walk along the river to town. The privacy and the garden setting of the cottage was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the cottages private deck and listening and watching the birds.
