Overview
Set on 4 acres of countryside, High Country Motor Inn Bright features free WiFi and an outdoor pool. All accommodation offers access to a terrace with lovely views of the gardens and mountains. There is also a children's playground. High Country Motel is 4 minutes’ walk from the Porepunkah Plantation State Forest and a 10-minute walk from Bright town centre, which offers a range of cafés and restaurants. It is a 3-hour drive from Mount Buller. All accommodation includes a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms feature their own spa bath. Ned’s Restaurant is open daily for breakfast.

I loved how quiet it was. The manager Doris was so lovely. Its very retro and an older motel but it had everything I needed and the room was enormous, like the good old days. The ceiling were so high and the exposed beams gave it a lovely old rustic charm. But the most wonderfully unexpected thing I loved was the water pressure and shower!! Wow!! Amazing, hot and soothing! The spa bath was a lovely touch and I soaked for an hour or so!!

“Perfect little country stay.”
Have stayed here many times with our dog. It’s in the perfect location, so close to town with a walk along the river. The staff are lovely and super accommodating 😊
