Overview
Enjoy daily buffet breakfast when you stay at Bright Chalet, just a 4-minute drive from the heart of Bright. A seasonal outdoor pool, and onsite restaurant/bar are all on offer here. Bright Chalet is a 2-minute drive from Bright Brewery and a 45-minute drive from the Mount Hotham ski fields. All air-conditioned rooms feature a balcony with garden, mountain and pool views. They offer a flat-screen TV, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has free toiletries. Guests can socialise in the shared lounge or stroll through the beautiful gardens. Onsite ski hire is available, as well as bicycle and kayaks.

Gorgeous venue, spacious apartments, well equipped, warm & welcoming all in an excellent location, brisk stroll into town, great spot to access rail trail bike paths … the staff were friendly, welcoming with excellent humour

The hotel is located a bit further away from the town center, however, it was easy to get to and had plenty of parking.

I had a disappointing experience during check-in. I arrived around 1:30 PM, but the room was still not ready. I contacted reception, and unfortunately, the manager/owner was not very polite in responding. I mentioned that the booking stated a 2:00 PM check-in time, but I was repeatedly told that the room would only be available once it was ready. In the end, I received the room after 2:30 PM, which was quite frustrating after a long journey. On a positive note, the breakfast was decent.

“Tired chalet in need of some love”
Staff were friendly, the location to town was good and the continental breakfast was okay. The garden was nice with lots of trees changing colour and many birds to see.

“Didn’t expect too much for the rate we paid, so we weren’t disappointed. In fact, pretty happy.”
The property is dated but charming. It’s on the Main Street but a little out of town. If you have a car this is not a problem.

“Very comfortable in beautiful surroundings will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.”
On arrival made to feel very welcome, our room was ready even though we arrived a little early. Extremely comfortable room, meals were great and all the staff very friendly and helpful.
