The location of the hotel is perfect, right by the lake and 5mins walk from the train station. The room was clean and cute. The staff was very flexible with my arrival time. I would definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is a traditional Swiss building that looks a bit old, but in this village most hotels are in the same style. The location is fantastic – right by the lake with an absolutely stunning view. The hotel manager, Hans, is an elderly gentleman who is very kind and lovely. The only downside is that the price is a bit high, but it seems that all hotels in Brienz are like this in August. Overall, it was a wonderful trip and we were very happy with our stay in Brienz.
