The cosy Hotel Weisses Kreuz offers you a great central location in Brienz, in the immediate vicinity of the train station and the ship pier. Enjoy charming rooms and fine Swiss cuisine. If the weather is good, you can have buffet breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the homemade bread. Traditional Swiss Food is served on the terrace or in the cosy restaurant of the Weisses Kreuz hotel. Some rooms come with a private bathroom. Some have a balcony with lake view and some offer views to the train tracks, where the old steam train passes. A local tourist guide, located in the same building below the hotel, can be pre-booked to explore the scenic surroundings. The typical Swiss lakeside village of Brienz surrounded by impressive mountains features charming wooden chalets and romantic alleys such as the Brunngasse. “Awesome 👌”
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was definitely the right choice. The location is amazing—directly opposite the train station, boat station, Coop supermarket, and the Pirate Bay boat rental area, making it extremely convenient for exploring the region. The view from the room was breathtaking and one of the highlights of my stay. Breakfast was good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The location is very convenient for the railway (mainline and mountain), ferry and the shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our evening meal was very good.

“Ideal stop over for our road trip.”
Ideal location next to the train station and the boat, mountain steam railway behind as well. Views across the lake were fantastic. Easy parking behind the hotel. Breakfast buffet had everything we needed and the Restaurant in the evening just as good. We were on a road trip and Hotel Weisses Kreuz was an ideal stop over to drive all the mountain passes near by.

Great location, across the pier and train station. Small but decent breakfast, restaurant in the house. Very clean room. it was a much better experience than what I expected after reading the reviews. Hard to complain :)

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Weisses Kreuz in Brienz. The hotel is charming, clean, and very comfortable. One of the best things is its location—right in front of the Brienz train station, just a minute’s walk away, which made traveling super convenient. The surrounding area is peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Brienz
