“Breathtaking views of lake Brienz, lovely hotel, would highly recommend”

“An inconvience to our travel”

After offering to come back and pick up our bags, the front desk staff especially offered to drop our bags down to us at the train station (due to us checking out earlier during the day and our train leaving later) rather than us walking back up and down a quite steep hill. The time allocated from them to drop our bags came and went with no word from the staff. My partner had to end up running up the hill (15 min walk) and run back down with our cases in order to make our train on time still. When he went in to grab our bags he couldn’t even manage to speak to a member of staff and there was no one at the front desk. After a nice stay this was super disappointing and means we would not stay here again.

The room was comfortable with a very nice lake view, at the check in we were upgraded a room with balcony. Breakfast was satisfactory but dinner menu was limited choice not enough for our taste too many Asia and Indian dishes. Also we were very please to be offered the shuttle service during our stay. Overall we enjoyed our short stay.

“The best place I’ve ever stayed.”

This was the most incredible place I’ve ever stayed. We booked a suite for myself, my husband and our daughters 4 y/o & 6m. The staff were so helpful, especially Joy and the room, wow the room! This trip was to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was so perfect. We ate in the restaurant there most nights, despite being costly for what we’re used to spending, the food was exquisite and again the staff were so lovely. The room was clean, fresh and so comfy and the views breathtaking. We actually asked to add on an extra night because we loved it there so much and they were super accommodating. Plenty of parking, easy access to the town, peaceful and beautiful. Brienz is the perfect place to station yourself in my opinion.

An amazing hotel with breathtaking views of Brienz, the lake, and the surrounding mountains. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the train station. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The restaurant offers delicious food with a wide variety of cuisines and dishes, and the terrace provides stunning panoramic views. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always happy to recommend activities and local attractions. A wonderful place to stay, and I would highly recommend it.

Excellent view . .

The view from the hotel was excellent. Hotel is located towards the hill, which gives it an excellent view of Lake Brienz. But this also costs a15 minutes uphill walking to the hotell from the train station. If you come with a car, there are enough parking space in the hotel. They also offer to pick you up and drop to the station of you contact beforehands. Our room had two floors and was wide enough. Lower floor had the sitting area, bathroom and even had a small kitchen with an oven and electric stove. Upper floor had the beds and a balcony with a view of the mountain. Breakfast was adequate, but I wish it had more alternatives.

“Amazing view from a nice hotel”

The view from the rooms and the restaurants is magnificent. The restaurant for dinner was also good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 4 nights in a classic double room with a lake view. The view from our room over the lake was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful in the main, particular the breakfast staff. The breakfast was good and offered a range of options served in a breakfast room that again enjoyed a fantastic view of the lake and mountains. There was a small sofa in a seating area to relax in.

The hotel is located on a hill, but the views are absolutely stunning. The room was clean and tidy, and it had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers free parking included in the stay. Guests also have access to a swimming pool and sauna.

Very nice views from the rooms and the breakfast area. The breakfast selection and tase are very nice. The staff are very friendly, as we requested to change our room and they changed it very quick and they responded to all our questions very nicely. Very nice playground.

The view was amazing. Staffs are very supportive and polite.

“Dark atmosphere”

Nice use of pool and nice towels. Room over looking lake had wonderful views. One receptionist was lovely . Breakfast was ok.

“Beautiful location”

Location great (we had rental car), beautiful garden, amazing scenery. Free tierpark with 15 min walk was a nice surprise. Breakfast was typical for Swiss hotel, musli, cereals, scrambled egg. basic fruit salad and croissants.

Beautiful location, we were offered a lake view upgrade. Such a stunning little room with amazing views. Staff were very kind and helpful. We had dinner at the outdoor restaurant which was delicious even if a little expensive. And morning breakfast was also amazing. Highly recommend this hotel!

The properly Is in a lovely location. A hill walk up to the hotel however it’s doable. Absolutely stunning views from the hotel and the rooms are so unique
