Gorgeous balcony view of the lake. Comfortable and clean room. Easy parking. Lovely walk along the lake into town (or for a swim). Is a good base to explore the area.

View and location were great. Room was ok, pillows were way too soft, but was given some extra ones (still very soft!) Food was good, but a little over priced Short 10 min walk and you start to reach some other restaurants. Notch to do around hotel,but great location to explore from

The hotel is very clean, and very well designed. The room was spacious and excellent bathroom with big shower. We had dinner, which was fantastic and a great beakfast. Staff was friendly, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location - close to the lake beach and with walking distance of Brienz centrum. Very helpful staff with positive attitude. Ample parking spaces. Good breakfast.

“Pleasant hotel, very clean in a good location”

Very clean hotel and clearly being upgraded at the moment. The view from our balcony was beautiful but there was a hotel being built behind us and the noise from 7am was loud and annoying (no fault of our hotel). Parking was ideal and only a short walk to the lakeside was perfect.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Brienz! The atmosphere was peaceful, the views were stunning, and everything about the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was perfect — fresh, delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. I truly wish I could have stayed longer than just one night.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely amazing, varied breakfast, allocable and homemade produce, continually replenished, and dinner was out of this world. We have thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back when again in Brienz. Wholeheartedly recommend.
