“Excellent stay”
We had a great time at Chalet mit Alpenambiente Axal - lot of space. Everything well equipped. Host was easy to reach via WhatsApp and always very helpful, giving us ideas of trips and restaurants and we had a very welcomed feeling. Good location, quiet place in evenings, nice for feeling very relaxed. Great porch with place to seat and see the wonderful views. Shopping areas down in the town . Nice surroundings for trips and views of the beautiful lake

“a Wonderful experience in my Swiss mountain stay.”
The location was awesome, very quiet, far off the beaten path, killer views of the surrounding areas and very safe. This is a must if you like to escape the big city feel and the crowded hotels as it is pretty much you and a couple of houses about 1/4 mile around. the location is very in touch with nature and there is no pollution of any kind. You will be waking up to the sound of cowbells and nature all around. The kitchen was fully functional and it was well stocked with everything you need for a long stay. There was plenty of space to sightsee and relax. One thing that I would like to point out that I do not feel it should count against the owner is the location therefor I add it as a disclaimer not as a con you will need your own transportation or align to the bus schedule coming about twice a day from neighboring Brienz. If you choose to drive remember this is a mountain road and some stretches of the road will be limited to only one car so exercise courtesy and caution. Do not let this deter you as it is worth the drive.

The surroundings are very beautyful. The chalet is amazing in true Swiss style. With a nice modern kitchen The host is very friendly.
